Mode. Press MODE. Choose Radian, then a+bi for Cartesian output or re(θi) for exponential output. Press 2nd → MODE (QUIT).
Entry. For 2eiπ/3, enter 2 × e^((π ÷ 3) × i). Use 2nd → ln for e-to-a-power, 2nd → ^ for π, and 2nd → . for i. In MathPrint, right-arrow out of the exponent before continuing.
Convert. Enter (3+4i), then MATH → CPX → 7: ►Polar → ENTER. Expected result: 5e^(0.927295218i). Use CPX → 6: ►Rect for the reverse.
Power. Put the entire complex base in parentheses before its exponent. ►Polar and ►Rect are end-of-expression commands for complex results; do not apply them to a purely real result such as −8. Degree mode causes Domain error for complex exponentials.

Mode. Home → Settings → Document Settings (Home 5, then 2). Set Angle: Radian and Real or Complex: Rectangular or Polar, then OK. Do not use Exponential Format; it controls Normal, Scientific or Engineering display.
Entry. On a Calculator page, use the dedicated ex key and the π-symbol palette for actual π and i (alphabetic e and i are variables). Enter 2×e^((π÷3)×i); right-arrow out of the exponent.
Convert. Enter (3+4i), then MENU → Number → Complex Number Tools → Convert to Polar. Use Convert to Rectangular in the same submenu. Radian polar output is reiθ; degree output is r∠θ.
Power. Use parentheses around the full base. Ctrl+Enter requests approximate output. Degree or Gradian mode causes Domain error for complex exponentials.
Exact radical and π display varies by model. The documented steps are not handheld- or emulator-tested. TI-Nspire settings and conversions · π-symbol palette
Checks: 2eiπ/3=1+√3i, its cube is −8, its inverse is 1/4−(√3/4)i; 16ei4π/3=16e−i2π/3.
